“My current work focuses on the medicalization and psychologization of school failure, the analysis of pedagogical approaches and learning inequalities (especially in the field of “first knowledge”), the naturalization of social inequalities in learning, in particular, by the neuropsychological and psychological expertise, the family practices of accompaniment to schooling, the sociology of teaching work and the school and extracurricular publishing market, the forms of school domination against the working classes. My approach is essentially sociological, with a knowledge of the work done in social psychology and cognitive psychology”.
